Kerbed Alloy Repair
How do we repair kerbed alloys?
Repairing kerbed alloy wheels can avoid unneccssary and expensive alloy replacements. It also makes your vehicle look much better and increases overall value. For us to repair kerbed alloys, we remove all wheels/tyres from the vehicle, inspect the wheel for any damage other than kerbing, linish out scuff marks, sand blast the wheels and powder coat in your colour of choice. Much simpler and more cost effective than completely changing wheels or leaving them kerbed!
What is kerb damage?
Probably the easiest way to damage your alloy wheels is to accidentally touch or scrape the kerb edge when parking. Kerbs are usually constructed from concrete or granite. So contact with an alloy wheel will result in a scratch, scuff or chip damage to the alloy rim. Kerb scuffs occur all too easily – normally when you drive too close to the pavement or misjudge a parallel park and the feeling always brings instant regret!
